Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

These terms govern the access to and use of the Content Island platform and all related services (hereinafter, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing or using the Service, you accept these terms in full.

1. Service description

Content Island is a Headless CMS platform that lets you create, manage and distribute digital content through APIs, editing tools and global infrastructure.

The features and resources available depend on the plan you have subscribed to and may change over time.

2. Plans, usage limits and additional consumption

The Service is offered through different subscription plans, each with specific limits and included resources.

The features, quotas and limits applicable to each plan are described on the Content Island pricing page.

Usage limits may include:

  • Number of users and collaborators.
  • API usage.
  • Content storage.
  • Asset bandwidth and content delivery consumption.
  • Other resources required for the operation of the Service.

If your usage exceeds the resources included in your subscription plan, Content Island may apply additional usage charges according to the following rate:

Additional asset bandwidth: €0.12 per GB consumed.

Additional consumption will be calculated based on the actual usage recorded by Content Island infrastructure during the billing period.

Content Island may notify customers when they approach or exceed their included limits. Customers remain responsible for monitoring their usage and selecting a plan that matches their needs.

For Enterprise customers, usage limits and additional consumption rates may be agreed through a specific commercial agreement.

3. Account and access

To use the Service you must provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account.

Sharing individual accounts between several people is not allowed if doing so means exceeding the limits of your plan.

4. Permitted use

You may use the Service to manage and distribute your own content in the context of your applications, websites or digital products.

You must use the Service in accordance with applicable law, these terms and generally accepted good practice.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Store, distribute or share illegal, harmful, defamatory or obscene content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Send spam, malware or any malicious code.
  • Interfere or attempt to interfere with the security, availability or integrity of the Service.

6. Content ownership

You retain all rights over the content you store or manage through the Service.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to host, process and deliver that content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you hold the necessary rights over the content you publish.

We work to keep the Service available and up to date, but we do not guarantee an uninterrupted or error-free service.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Service at any time, with or without prior notice.
